TECHNOLOGY LEADER · BRASELTON, GA

Technology.
People first.

I’m Blake Boyd. IT director, former CRO, and a translator between technology and the people it serves.

Good technology begins with understanding people.

The connection
is the work.

The best technology decisions start with a human question: who is this going to help?

That question connects the different chapters of my career. I’ve worked from the support desk to client success leadership, served as a chief revenue officer, and now lead information technology for the Town of Braselton.

Each role has reinforced the same lesson: understanding the technology is only part of the job. Listening, explaining the tradeoffs, and earning people’s trust matter just as much.

A little more about me

In local government, technology touches how a community works. My focus is on secure, modern systems that improve efficiency, safety, and accessibility, with solutions shaped around the town’s needs.

I enjoy moving between strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving. Whether I’m leading a team, managing a complex project, or explaining a new tool, I want the people involved to feel informed and confident.

My education in marketing also informs how I approach IT: understand the audience, communicate clearly, and connect the solution to a real need.

My professional profile

Make the complex clear.
Then make it useful.

A few principles that connect my work in technology, business, and public service.

01

Start with people.

Understand the people using a system before choosing the system. A solution works best when it fits the way people actually work.

02

Make trust tangible.

Security, transparency, and clear communication belong in the same conversation. People need to understand both what’s changing and why it matters.

03

Keep the bigger picture.

Connect technical decisions to operational needs and business goals. Build for the next step, with the long-term sustainability of the solution in mind.

Good work starts
with a conversation.

If you’re thinking about technology, leadership, or the intersection of the two, I’d be glad to connect.
